About This Portfolio

This portfolio is the culmination of my work in the Notation in Science Communication (NSC) program at Stanford University. Through the NSC, I've honed my abilities to analyze, organize, and communicate complex ideas for diverse audiences. I demonstrate not only what I've learned as an engineer and researcher, but also how I've grown as a science communicator who strives to bridge the gap between technical research and real-world impact.

I have organized this portfolio into three thematic sections: Educate, Uplift, and Sustain. These sections showcase my development as a communicator across different contexts and applications.

Educate

Learn → Understand → Teach

This section shows my personal growth from learning in my engineering degree to understanding how to learn and teach effectively to teaching college-level STEM material.

Uplift

Observe → Design → Act

This section showcases projects working towards positive impact on societally important problems, starting with careful observation, followed by intentional design, and culminating in action and implementation of a solution.

Sustain

Plant → Grow → Bloom → Pollinate

This section shows my growth as a sustainability researcher, planting by exploring new ideas, growing by conducting rigorous studies, blooming by sharing my contributions, and pollinating by spreading ideas to inspire future work.

Each section contains curated artifacts accompanied by reflections that illustrate how I applied core principles of science communication to real-world data science and engineering problems. Collectively, these artifacts reveal how my academic background and growing expertise as a communicator converge to serve a broader vision of social and environmental progress.
